Mayor R.T. Rybak shares new vision for Washington Blvd.

On Tuesday, October 10, 2006, Minneapolis Mayor R.T. Rybak and Tom Hysell, President of the Minneapolis Chapter of AIA Minnesota, launched the Mayor’s Great City Design Teams, encouraging residents and community groups to join the effort to create new visions for the City of Minneapolis. The Mayor’s Great City Design Teams are made up of architects, landscape architects, urban designers and developers who work with residents and community groups to develop design visions for their neighborhoods.

Mayor Rybak and David Graham, chair of this Great Street Design team, shared the Washington Blvd vision with 50 EDC members and guests who attended our February luncheon at EDC member, Open Book.
